Radovan Scasascia
Secondo is an alias of Italian electronic musician Radovan Scasascia, who began his career in the mid-90s as Rade on Frank De Wulf’s Tribal Sun label. From 2000, he developed the Secondo alias on his DIY imprint Dreck, creating a distinctive style he coined Schnitzeltechnik — a micro-sampling technique using disco and boogie record fragments. His club-ready productions gained underground recognition, leading to the release of his acclaimed album A Matter of Scale on UK’s Soul Jazz Records. His second album Over Under was released in March 2025 on What About Never, the label he runs together with Capracara.
Secondo has remixed notable artists including Felix Da Housecat and been featured in influential mix compilations by Richie Hawtin (DE9), Erol Alkan (Bugged Out), and DJ Haus (Defected). He has performed at prestigious international venues including Mutek Chile, Transmediale, and Berlin’s Panorama Bar, establishing himself as a respected figure in experimental dance music over two decades.
