Claude VonStroke

Barclay Crenshaw aka Claude VonStroke started the label and events company called Dirtybird in 2005. He ran the label and events companies for 20 years and then sold them in 2022 to Empire Distribution. He has an impeccable A&R history, signing acts like Justin Martin, Julio Bashmore, Catz 'n Dogz, Fisher, Shiba San, Breach, John Summit, Eats Everything, and Shadow Child well before they broke big. VonStroke himself has released four original artist albums, a remix album, and several high-profile mix and remix compilations; highlights include working with and on records with Bootsy Collins, The Chemical Brothers, Disclosure, and Green Velvet (with whom he tours and produces as Get Real). In 2025, after a 2-year hiatus, Claude VonStroke returned to making house music and began his new music and touring career again as a completely independent artist.
